The spammed email, MSWEETLOVE@BANN.CO.UK is NOT a valid email at this domain. It never has been. All emails to bann.co.uk end up with me. WH Smiths, or the 3rd party they contracted this to confirm to the new ASA standards: They do not confirm the email addresses entered into your database before signing them up to their marketing bumpf. As the email address does not exist they cannot have have explicit permission to mail the address As the email address does not exist they do not have an existing customer relationship with me. Finally the new code states that all advertising emails are clearly identified as such. Their subject line does not make it clear that this is an advertisement.
